Safety is smart business. Taking care of our customers begins with taking care of the teammates who get the job done.

Zanesville Steel continuously works to maintain a safety performance rating that outperforms the industry average and implements an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policy that reinforces the goal of a zero-injury workplace. We have strong job hazard analysis and near miss programs in place to be proactive in risk identification.

We are held to the same standards and comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, state and local health and safety codes and regulations, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Ergonomic evaluations are also done on workstations to ensure that Zanesville Steel has the right equipment for employees to safely perform their jobs.
